Horse Birthday Party Supplies

Ok I have to plan ahead, WAY ahead. My daughter’s birthday is in August. She is having a horse themed party. We picked everything out. Our HUGE problem is that we cannot find a bakery anywhere near us that is able or even willing to attempt, to make a cake without nuts, soy, soybean oil, or other nut oils!!! I realize the liability is there for cross contamination but these people are not even willing to work with us. I have offered to supply any additional $$$ for their troubles. I would do it myself but I am HORRIBLE at decorating cakes, especially 3D or specialty cakes. Help!
We live in the Finger Lakes region of NY.
The first “themed” party my daughter wanted was a blue’s clues party when she turned three. We had just moved and had no extra money to purchase a specialty cake from the bakers, so I was excited, but intimidated to make one myself!
I grew up in a house where the birthday cake remained in the 9×13 pan and was frosted from the can ( made with love! but just not too pretty!)
Anyhow, I share this with you because I found a website that described in very simple, easy to follow steps how to make a blue’s clues cake for my daughter. It took very little time to make it myself and the results were amazing! Everyone was astonished that I had made the cake! (As was I!) I used a ‘box’ cake mix and frosting from the can.
