Wedding favor idea?

We want to have a very small wedding (16 people). Because the guest list will be so small, we can afford to spend a little more about things. All our customers will travel at least 5 hours to our wedding, and for them to stay overnight. We want to put a package of "guest" in their beds when they arrive. We'll be there the day before so we can get the hotel staff to put packages in the rooms. These serve as favors. We want to include local issues and are having a difficult time deciding what to include. We live on the west coast so maybe some smoked salmon (and perhaps a bottle of something go with him), a small loaf of bread and some cheese so they can take an aperitif on arrival. We are very respectful of the environment and I love the idea of seeds or something like that too. Any other ideas? Maybe a smaller size or something? I do not know ... Furthermore, it is basically 8 couples so it would be a package per room per couple. Thanks!

I'm getting married in July and we are giving recycled / reusable / recyclable grocery bags whitish. we are shooting and tying with raffia. They can roll up and put them in a basket. We have been searching the local thrift stores and collecting beautiful baskets for $ 1 each.
